Who We Are

 

We are a group of reenactors and historical enthusiasts who strive to bring to life the history of the French and Indian War and mid 18th century life. Our passion is for the preservation and sharing of knowledge about the French Marines living in the Americas in the middle of the 18th Century.

 

To see us in action, attend one of the events listed below, visit our camp (look for our unit flag pictured above) and ask us questions.  We love answering questions!

 

We are based out of the Detroit and southeast Michigan area, but travel to events and reenactments all over the eastern United States.

Have you ever wished you had a time machine that could take you back to life in the past?  A hobby as a historical reenactor can be your time machine!

2025 Events
Jun 7-8

TAYLOR COLONIAL DAYS (Taylor, MI) Come tour 18th century encampments. Enjoy the 18th century fashion show. Daily battles. The event is brought to you by The Taylor Historical Commission, Taylor Historical Society, and the host unit 49th Regiment.

Jun 14-15

HISTORY ALIVE! (Chesterfield, MI) The Chesterfield Historical Society of Michigan and The Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society host an all eras timeline event. This event is located at the Chesterfield Historical Society's village on Sugarbush road. Visitors can expect to see 18th and 19th century displays.

Jul 4-6

FORT NIAGRA FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR ENCAMPMENT (Youngstown, NY) Old Fort Niagara in western New York will recreate the dramatic events of the summer of 1759 during the historic site's annual French and Indian War Encampment. The three-day event will feature two battle reenactments each day, 18th century artisans, music, living history programs and many other activities. 

Jul 19-20

CASS RIVER COLONIAL ENCAMPMENT (Frankenmuth, MI) 
Experience an 18th Century encampment of historical reenactors representing British, French and Americans at Frankenmuth River Place Shops.

Aug 23-24

NWTA- FORT MEIGS (Perrysburg, OH) This event takes place at the Peacock Road Family Farm in Laingsburg, MI. Historic hobbyists and reenactors from all over the Great Lakes area will be attending this event. They will recreate in living history displays the time periods of the French and Indian War, the American Revolutionary War.

Sep 27-28

VERMILLION CREEK (Laingsburg, MI) This event takes place at the Peacock Road Family Farm in Laingsburg, MI. Historic hobbyists and reenactors from all over the Great Lakes area will be attending this event. They will recreate in living history displays the time periods of the French and Indian War, the American Revolutionary War.
