BELLETRE
French and Indian War French Marines
Who We Are
We are a group of reenactors and historical enthusiasts who strive to bring to life the history of the French and Indian War and mid 18th century life. Our passion is for the preservation and sharing of knowledge about the French Marines living in the Americas in the middle of the 18th Century.
To see us in action, attend one of the events listed below, visit our camp (look for our unit flag pictured above) and ask us questions. We love answering questions!
We are based out of the Detroit and southeast Michigan area, but travel to events and reenactments all over the eastern United States.
Joining Our Unit
Have you ever watched a historical movie and thought you would like to live that kind of life?

Belletre is always on the lookout for enthusiastic men and women interested in living history with us! Visit our "About Us" page and our "Equipment" page for information on joining and what type of equipment we commonly use.
